Last weekend my husband and I had a full day to ourselves and it really was much needed. We dropped the little guy at my parents and hopped on a train to NYC. We went to the Rangers-Flyers game which was fun. It was the first Ranger game I had gone to. After the game we went to Chelsea Brewing Company for lunch. The beer was great, the view was beautiful, but the food was just ok. It didn't really matter though. We talked about all sorts of things and it was nice to do it uninterrupted. We then took a stroll down 14th street to Union Square and talked about how we need to come in when the weather is warmer with the little guy. We strolled right to Heartland Brewery where I had the most delicious porter. The name was even great "not tonight honey porter" Yum. I did miss my little one, but it was nice to have some grown-up time.
